Red & White Toile

Hello everyone,
I am still on my blog break but as I mentioned I have a few prescheduled theme posts for you and today it is a bit of red and white toile .
this window in our kitchen/dining room has had a few different arrangements over the past few years and I found this pic of a few years ago. now there is a chaise in the bay. Sometime I will do a post and of all the different looks it has had.

My transferware dishes  and the toile go nicely together.
This is where the chair ended up after it got booted out of the bay. This is in our little garden cottage.

Tea anyone?

I love this toile quilt and again it is in the cottage.
Hope you enjoyed popping in for a little visit!

Take care,

Carolyn

  15. Hi Carolyn,

Did you take your laptop with you on holiday? Surely not......you remind me of my daughters, they take their laptops along with them as well. As I still have an old fashioned computer I am not able to do this (luckily):-)!!!

    Have a lovely break!

    Lieve groet, madelief x

  23. Your cottage is lovely and the bed so romantic. If I had a bed like that I would stay in bed and read Victorian magazines while I enjoyed breakfast in bed - providing "Rosa" wasn't on a day off of course!

  27. Hello dear Carolyn,
I love your red toile decor and your china. It is all so very, very pretty!
I saw Red toile Ironstone in VV just two days ago. It was a whole set of dishes, I wanted it so badly, but I could not get it. We are tightening our belts right now and there is no room for such lovelies. Unfortunately!
    Hugs, Cindy
