A Spring Breakfast

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all having a good week. It is already time for another Tablescape Thursday and today we are having a casual spring breakfast.

I thought I would add a few spring touches so I am using my turquoise dishes from the thrift store and some ivory ones too.

Peter Rabbit has been around here since my children were younger - I thought he would add some spring charm.
And of course I added some flowers too.

This little white bunny has also been around for awhile.
We are eating in the kitchen again this week. I am looking forward to eating out in the garden again but patience is a virtue and it will be all the sweeter for the wait!

I found this embroidered tablecloth that is edged with this wide band of beautiful hand made lace in a thrift shop last year for a couple of dollars.

Did you notice the cute little napkin rings- a gift from a friend.

This pretty dish belonged to my Mom and it always sat on her tea tray with spoons in it.

I made a couple of collages showing some of the little details. Did you notice the chaise by the window got a makeover too? More of my thrifty finds that fit our color scheme today.
Give me a minute to get the breakfast on and then we can enjoy a meal together.

I will be joining in with Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday again today.

I am also joining in with Cindy at My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday.

 Thank you for visiting me,

 Carolyn

Carolyn -
I'm sure your mother would be so proud of the way you are using that beautiful spooner. Your table is so delightful because you have mixed true antiques with vintage with new. Anyone can buy a "set" of dishes and set a table, but a lovingly collected look is soooo much more interesting. Your flair for florals shines here too. This is such a relaxed and lovely way to start the day.

I love the blue and white...it looks so fresh and springy! I also love your use of the bunnies, and the egg cups are darling. I'm hosting an Easter Birthday Party for my soon-to-be one-year old next month, and I'm looking for ideas for his table. We will have mostly adults, but there will be a couple of "under fives" with us. I'm looking forward to it. Perhaps I can do the adult table more elegant and a special, smaller table for the kiddies. Thanks for the inspiration!

The aqua color has to be one of my very favorites. I LOVE your tablescape. I think that I may have spied a dusty aqua/teal quilt under your tablecloth that I also have. I bought it to use as a tablecloth...it stays in disquise, folded at the end of a bed in one of our guest rooms. Thank you for sharing your beautiful design. Cherry Kay
