Kitchen Party at Note Songs!

Hello everyone,

Today my friend Shelia is hosting a Kitchen Party and I want to join in- I hope I am not too late! I took these photos today and it was cloudy when I took them so they are not the best.

You might know that I love dishes-especially red transferware so my cupboards are getting pretty full-but I know there is always room for more!

I will open the doors so you can get a better look!

Now, the other side.

Closer up.

In the middle

I actually had a little party in my kitchen today as we had some visitors from Japan.

We enjoyed some hot apple cider.

I picked this big bouquet from the garden this morning.

These are my cupboards. We renovated our kitchen about 5 years ago.

the cupboards are ivory with a antiqueing glaze over them.

The baywindow in the dining area has a good view of the garden.

Now, I hope you can stay and enjoy a cup of tea with me or maybe some hot apple cider!

Thank you, Shelia at Note Songs for hosting this fun party- I am looking forward to seeing all the pretty kitchens over there!

&

Thank you for visiting me today,

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn...

My friend, I think this may be the first time that I've seen your lovely kitchen! It really is beautiful...I love those type of drawer pulls! Of course, I always love to peek through your china cabinets! You know that the red transferware is my favorite...Oh, heart be still! I think I died and went to red transferware heaven, Carolyn! Hehe!

It looks like you had a busy day with another tour group. Your visitors looked like they were really enjoying their hot apple cider! You are such a great hostess, my friend! Thank you for sharing your beautiful kitchen and china cabinets with us...such a treat!

Caroly,
Your colors, and cupboard with all the transferware is the most beautiful I have seen!
YOu have displayed all your beloved dishes to perfection!
I love your kitchen. My kitchen is white, but I am thinking of putting an antique glaze on my cupboards. After seeing yours, I am even more convinced.
Just so beautiful!

Dearest Carolyn,

Thanks for letting us 'in' on that special kitchen party! The Japanese for sure enjoyed their apple cider and also the roomy and bright kitchen of yours; compared to their scaled down kitchens at home.
Great crocheted lacework inside your transferware china cabinets! And LOVE that double window over the sink... that keeps you 'in sync' with your garden all the time!

Sunny greetings from Georgia,

Hi Kathy,
My appliances are bisque but that is getting hard to get here in Canada but easier in the U.S. we are told.
Thank you everyone for your sweet comments-there are so many beautiful kitchens to see at Shelia's Note Songs.
