Show and Tell Friday

Hello everyone,

Another week has almost passed and it is Show and Tell Friday again. So as I was looking for some photos to share with you I came across these and thought I would share them today.

These are a few photos I have taken of my geraniums in the past few weeks .

They will still be safe from frost for a few weeks yet but then I will have to move them indoors.

I enjoy keeping some of them on windowsills in the winter and the rest will be wintered over in our basement.

I love all the different shades.

I grow them in urns, windowboxes and planters.

Today, I am joining Cindy at My Romantic Home for Show and Tell so I hope you enjoy checking out the beauty there again.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend,

Carolyn

Gorgeous geraniums, Carolyn. I'd like to have some pink ones to keep inside over winter. I'd better check out the garden places. Just saw tulip bulbs advertised at the Christmas Tree Shops so I'd better get some of those for the spring. Had great luck with the gladiolas from there. Take care and thanks for sharing your charming flowers. Susan

The geraniums are beautiful...simple and elegant!!! I'm not good with flower names at all..and I was admiring the beautiful flowers you had shared with us in the previous post...specifically the pink geraniums:) :) :) Are they easy to grow? Lovely...I can see why you like to grow them so much and display them all over your home ;) :)

oh, thank you for a couploe of other German-language blogs I found via your blog :) :) :) I lived in Germany for three years and speak fluent German now...but it was really nice to find something that combined my love of all things romantic etc...and German language? so cool!!! Thanks!!!

Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

These geraniums are so sweet and delicate looking. Amazingly beautiful pictures! I have to admit that I'm the tiniest bit jealous. My geraniums don't look anything like this. (sigh...)

Dear Carolyn,

Your geraniums have some beautiful colours! All those pinks!! Tomorrow it will be a warm day in Holland, so we are of to our garden. I bought a William Shakespeare rose half price at the garden centre, which I look forward to put in the ground.

Wish you a happy & sunny weekend!

Lieve groet, Madelief

Geraniums are one annual we can count on to keep flowering and I don't think I've ever had any pest or disease problems with them either.
You have some beautiful shades of pink Carolyn that would be worth over-wintering.
Have a great weekend.

The flowers of geraniums under the macro eye of the camera are really beauties.
I have a weakness for the whites with a pinch of pink in the center.
Have a very nice weekend, Carolyn.

Hi Carolyn, I love your beautiful geraniums. How do you prepare them for overwintering? Our basement is well insulated and not cool enough or dark enough. Any suggestions? I have one I'd like to try to keep this winter.
Did you see the new Country Home magazine? It's beautiful and has fall decorating. Pam
