Garden Tea

Hello everyone,

With all the lovely weather we are having I am enjoying tea in the garden again today. I hope you can join me! As you can see I have picked a beautiful bouquet from the garden for our table.

The theme is red and cream today.

Many of you know that I love red and white(cream) transferware dishes so we will use them today.

While we are sipping our tea we can enjoy the garden.

This is the hillside garden behind us-it has a lot of different coneflowers in bloom now.

This is the garden from the opposite side of our table.

I am so glad you could join me for tea today! Now I would like to share the good news that my Mom has had her tubes removed and is able to join in the tea party today also. Mom is still very weak but I think now that she can eat again she will get stronger each day. Thank you again for all your compassion and prayers- I am very grateful to you all! I am off to visit her now.

Take care,

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn...

First of all, I'm so happy to hear that your mother is doing better! Still sending prayers and good thoughts her way, my friend!

Carolyn, I do believe that you set the prettiest garden tea in all of Blogland!!! Ohhh...I just wish you could hear all my ooohs and aaahs when I visit your place! hehe! This garden tea is especially a favorite of mine because the red and cream transferware is my favorite!!! Ohhh...and your floral bouquets are simply gorgeous...I can just about smell the sweetness of those beautiful blooms!!! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely garden tea with us today...it's always such a pleasure, sweet lady!!!

Carolyn, you know how I am a big fan of your photography! I am thinking about purchasing a new camera..something with more options than what I have now. Right now I basically have just a "point and shoot" camera...a Sony Cybershot. Anyway, I was wondering if you would mind telling me what kind of a camera you are using? I sure would appreciate it!

Have a wonderful day, my friend!

Hi Carolyn,
So glad to hear that your mom is recuperating and eating will certainly help her to grow stronger.
Your tea looks so lovely and so beautiful in your beautiful garden surroundings. Perfect place for a tea! I am still vacationing on the other side of Canada from you, that's why I haven't been around much. Be home soon though.

Dearest Carolyn,
Thankful that your mom is doing better. God bless you both.

The red and cream are perfect for this garden tea!!!

It lightly rained today and cooled off the hot drearies. Tea with thee is a nice treat.

Thank you for inviting me to your gorgeous garden. It is very refreshing. I needed some time to just sit and enjoy God's nature that you tend to.

What a delightful spread you have set before us for Tea in the Garden. I love having Tea in the Garden. I have that very tablecloth as a matter of fact... only after many Teas over time in the fierce Arizona Sun it has now faded to muted Pink and White. *smiles* I'm also loving your Music... very tranquil and beautiful. So glad to hear your Mom is recovering nicely.

Hello Carolyn....So happy your Mom could have her tea today. That was great news.

I love the red and cream color theme. Very lovely.

Your photos are enticing, as always. You have such a gorgeous yard. And I just LOVE that birdie bath with the angels. I even called our local Restore today to see if they had any bird baths. They didn't. Boo hoo.

Take care, Carolyn. Have a peaceful evening. Susan
