Lilac Time Again!

Hello everyone,
It is such a beautiful time of year here on the Island with warm sunny weather finally here. Now, I hope you are not tired off lilacs yet because I still have more to share.
soft and romantic
As some of you may remember, we have forty different varieties of lilacs in our garden. Many of them are still young so they will get more beautiful each year as they mature.
This one is primrose.
Beauty of Moscow and it is a beauty!
I had to include a few bouquets from previous years that I loved
You can see some of the different color lilacs in this bouquet.
Well believe it, or not, that is all for today. I hope you love lilacs as much as I do!
Today I am joining Cindy again for Show And Tell Fridays at her beautiful blog My Romantic Home .
I hope you all enjoy a wonderful weekend,
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn

I found a quote this morning that seems particularly apt for your beautiful garden...

With every leaf a miracle . . . and from this bush in the door-yard,
With delicate-colour'd blossoms, and heart-shaped leaves of rich green
A sprig with its flower, I break.
- Walt Whitman,
When Lilacs Last in the Door-Yard Bloom'd
(III, Leaves of Grass)

Oh Carolyn, I can never tire of beautiful lilacs or anything else that you post. You are such an inspiration, I always leave your post full of energy to go and play in my flowers, I lost mu Kim lilac bush last year and haven't replanted yet.. will put that on the list of things to do.. as always a pleasure when I visit..

Lilacs are one of the most beautiful flowers. They smell so good. Your blooms are absolutely gorgeous. When I lived in Kentucky I had a beautiful lilac tree. We can't grow lilacs in South Carolina because it is too hot! But we do have Wisteria which is similar to lilac. But does not have that awesome smell!

I'm never ever tired of lilacs. I'm just so happy to see them back again - the season here was too short, this year.

I love lilacs and have several purple ones in our yard. You have inspired me to add more of another color next year when I start adding more plants.

Carolyn, these are so stunning! I love, love, your variety. I have always wanted a white lilac. I only have one it's a varigated one. I posted about it and now you have inspired me to go look up it's name. I am still stunned by the beauty of your lilacs, your arrangements and your post. Thank you, Carolyn.
