Cupboard Makeover

Hello everyone,

Today I an joining Cindy again for show and tell Friday so I am sharing a cupboard for my linens that got a bit of a makeover.

The cupboard was given to me and it was painted gold with four doors on it. I am sorry I forgot to take a picture of it. I gave the cupboard a couple of coats of creamy white paint and my husband made the doors for me. As you can see they have chicken wire on them so you can see my quilts inside.

We still have to put knobs on the doors.

It sat on the floor before but we put legs on it that are really fence post tops painted to match. I found the little scalloped edge trim at Micheal's and we put it around the bottom.

I love seeing the quilts stacked inside it.

Now, I will end with a pretty collage of flowers from our garden last summer.

If you haven't already been to Cindy's My Romantic Home go and enjoy visiting Show and Tell Friday.

Thank you for visiting me and I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

Carolyn

Well isn't that just adorable! I love the clean white and the coop wire.. it's perfect!

Now you need a few tiny hearts to hang on the door knob.

Dear Carolyn,

Your cupboard makeover is beautiful!!! I love the color you painted it and all of the sweet details. I think the chicken wire is lovely and enables you to see your beautiful quilts! The flower mosaic was so pretty! Before too long you will be sharing photos everything blooming in your garden. I purchased a few flowers today, and I can hardly wait to plant them tomorrow. Hi Carolyn
That is so pretty. I like the idea of using the round fence post tops for feet.I'm going to file that idea away for a future project.

I love your linen cupboard with all of your quilts stacked inside. The doors with the chicken wire inserts are perfect. Great idea too about adding the legs made out of fence post toppers. That made it the perfect height too. I love painting furniture white or cream. Your home is so beautiful.

Hugs,
Lee Laurie

That is really a pleasure to look at. All those quilts folded so beautifully in the cupboard. I bought a few crochet blankets from the car boot sales last year just so I could get pleasure looking at them all neatly folded in the cupboard!
Good work. I like the legs. Inspired! xx
