Garden Fairies!

It's Friday already so it is Show and Tell day at My Romantic Home again. Today I am sharing some photos of a little garden fairy and her baby that my daughter gave me a few years ago. They are enjoying the sunshine and flowers in the sunroom!

Aren't they the cutest?

Your garden fairies are adorable. The expression on the "Mom" is perfect - deep in thought, but all knowing.

I so enjoy your blog. It's a bit of a treat with my morning coffee. Love the new header.

Hi Carolyn,

You changed your header! It looks like you are ready for spring as well! I have several books by Nicolas Sparks in my cupboard. I like the movie they made of The Notebook. It is one of my favourites! I haven't heard of the film 'Dear John' yet in Holland, but I will try to see if I can find a trailer on internet!

Wish you a happy weekend!

Lieve groet, Madelief

Carolyn, they are so pretty, and must always give you a smile.

I really want to see The Young Victoria, and there are several other movies out now that I want to see. I think I'll rope my husband in for this evening.

I am just hearing about "Dear John"....let us know how you like it! We are in the midst of a winter storm in Ohio....it is like a "snowglobe" here!~Patti

Hi Carolyn
Love the new header and background colour, it suits you well.
I'm probably the only one that is going to say this, but I have trouble with the blank staring eyes on white figurines. I usually paint mine, some with detail and others just a solid colour. (probably just me :-)
I still like your fairies though and the charm they add indoors and out.

Hi Carolyn, Your daughter knows what to give a gardener's soul doesn't she? The faeries are beautiful and cheer up the space so well. The hyacinth is so pretty. I love having blooms in the house in Winter. It always elevates my spirit.
I hope you have a great time at the movie with your daughters. It sounds so fun. You'll have to let me know what you think of the show. I don't get the opportunity to go out much with my husband because we can't leave Landon very often, so I typically never go to the theater. I don't like going alone much, unless it is really worth it.

Those fairies are so darling and go perfect with all your flowers! I love the expressions on their faces. Hope you like the Dear John movie. I find when I've read the book, I'm usually disappointed in the movie - it seems they have to cut a lot out to fit the time or the characters are not as you pictured. Still it is fun to go see it - Enjoy!
