White Elegance!

I love the elegance of these creamy white bath time products. The pitcher and bowl was a gift from my Dad many years ago. He bought it at an auction sale for me.

This is a little soy candle-did you know that soy candles have a lot fewer harmful chemicals in them then regular candles.

pretty soap and lace

a dried rose

Does anyone recognize this ornament from the new Victoria magazine-if it is good enough for Matthew Mead it is good enough for me! Did you see the new issue-I love it!

epsom salts with lavender under the candle-smells so good in the bath!

I hope you enjoyed some touches of white elegance today!

Take care,

Carolyn

You have quite a knack for photographing such beautiful vignettes. I am always drawn to whites - - so serene.

I strayed away from simple, white, and pretty in terms of bath accessories...but your post makes me want to go back! They're so beautiful, and I agree with Angela - you really do have a knack for lovely vignettes.

Hi Carolyn,

Beautiful whites! The pitcher and bowl must be very special to you. I never heard of soy candles before, but if there are less chemicals inside it is worth buying them!

Fijne dag! Lieve groet, Madelief

Carolyn, the title of this post says it all. Just looking at these lovely photos relaxes me, and I'm not feeling well today. This was sheer delight. I so wish I had know about Aiken House when we traveled to Prince Edward Island two summers ago. Makes me want to plan a return trip. ~ Sarah

Thank you for your beautiful blog site. I'm new to the blogging world, and I'm getting so much inspiration from all you creative souls out there.
I'm from Iowa, but we visited your enchanting island in 2002. We drove our camper with 4 children and our dog to explore your magnificent PEI!! I can't wait to come back.

Happy Winter,
Nancy

I couldn't help but notice your ironstone pitcher has a wheat pattern on it. I love that pattern. You have a wonderful memory of your father every time you look at the bowl and pitcher.

I love every bit of your white elegance! I did not know that soy candles were so much better. I love Tag and Root candles for their long burning capacity but will try to find soy next time.
