White Wednesday

Hello everyone, another Wednesday has rolled around again so I went in search of some pretty whites to share. I used to knit a lot when my children were small but got out of the habit for awhile but lately I have the urge to pick it up again. So I got out my old knitting needles and some yarn and thought they made a pretty picture!

I have linens and lace in various places around our home.

I know many of you saw this recently but it fit so well for White Wednesday that i had to show it again.

angelic white soap and very old handmade lace made by my 90 year old neighbours maiden aunt-such fine work. What patience she must have had.

the little white bird that sits on my teapot.

I love white birdhouses too-I can see another white Wednesday post coming up!

The white seed head of pampas grass looks pretty against the blue sky.

my white cottage tea party.

a little angel

another little 'angel' Jessica having a tea party.

girls day out! three of our four granddaughters having a chat.

no friend like a sister!

Lady in white! our 2 year old granddaughter Abby.

I will end with another of my collage.

I am joining Kathleen at Faded Charm for White Wednesday. i hope you enjoy checking out other white Wednesday posts.

Thank you for visiting,

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,

Your granddaughters look angelic in their pretty white dresses! When my girls were young I used to make dresses like this for them as well. I still kept some in a box...for when they are older, just as a memory. My mother did the same for me.

Your 'white' pictures look once again beautiful!

Fijne dag! Lieve groet, Madelief

Hi Carolyn,

Unfortunately we don't have the Victoria magazine in Holland. Is it a bit like Country Living? It is very difficult to boy the Jeanne d'Arc Magazine in Holland, but I ordered the 'Jeanne d'Arc magazine' via the internet. It will cost you some extra on postage, but I think it is worth it!

Have a lovey day!

lieve groet, Madelief

How lovely Carolyn, everything wonderful as all you do. But... I felt in love with your so, so beautiful grand daughters, how cute they are, and all dressed up in whites, oh, is a heavenly image.
I wonder what were they talking about...

Carolyn your blog is beautiful. I was trying to go back and look at pictures from last holiday season to get decorating ideas, but they were not there. Is it my computer or are they gone? Thank you for your inspiration!

Carolyn you have the nack of making anything look pretty even balls of wool. I have been knitting again after many years and enjoying making a cardigan for my daughter who has had a bad wrist now for 4 months a bit of a worry really not the inability to knit but she plays and teaches Cello and sadly has been unable to play with a bad wrist.

I envy you your delightful grandchildren. They are lucky to have such an artistic grandma.

Hi Straw hat Lady,
No it is not your computer my photos all disappeared for about a year starting in June. I never did find out what happened but I hope I don't lose anymore.I guess I should back up my blog but I have not fiqured out how to do that yet.
I will soon post some Christmas photos-some will be last years.
Thanks for your interest,
Carolyn
