Tea Time

It is teatime here so come and join in!

Today I am using my pretty toile cup and saucer that my sister in law gave to me. It is one of my favorites.

I used a flash for this shot.

I love the bottom teacup too -I have had it for a long time and can't remember where I got it.

Last week I got these new willow small plates at Homesense in Halifax.

I also got the four dinner plates there. They were on clearance making them a bargain too good to pass up. Yes,I know my cabinets are getting full!

This is an old creamer from an antique shop.

The next few pictures are from my daughters collection but it seems like a good place to share them. I actually got these for her at the Christmas Tree shop a few years ago.

They look lovely in her black hutch. I will have to take some shots of the whole kitchen sometime.

I bought this recently at the Dollar Store.

this is the pretty tea cup from my sister in law in case anyone wanted to know the name.

This is the old one

It occured to me that tea time without something sweet wasn't much fun so now we are good to go!

Hope you have a great weekend

and

Thank you for having tea with me!

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,

Thank you for the tea! I like you toile cup and caucer and the china you bought for your daughter. It is good to see that you and your daughter have the same taste! An extra reason to buy it, when you see something nice on a fleamerket or in a dollar store. If there is no more space in your cabinets there maybe some space in hers! I always enjoy buying things for people I now who will love it. Have a good weekend!

Collect you dinnerware? Very nice it was black I actually nicer than the red china. You actually use. Grizzly hear, if there some breaks. Something makes me thing of the English film die in Netherlands 'Keeping Up Appearances'hot. With missis 'Hyacint'. A woman who lives beyond her means and when the neighbour comes over te visit its most expensive dishes on the table, but is afraid that the neighbour will break. What her strange behavior also occurs.

Oh, oh, bad translation...
Dear regards, Marja
