Breakfast for One

Good morning ! Today I was home alone so I thought I would enjoy my breakfast out in our little upstair sunroom.

I made some buttermilk biscuits and they are hot out of the oven- just the way I like them.

A soft boiled egg some raisin toast.blackberry preserves ,milk and a cup of tea and I am good to go!

The sun is just starting to peek out.

These biscuits are so good my husband will be lucky if there are any left when he gets home!

aren't these little egg cups cute?

Well,I better eat now before it gets cold!
Today I am joining Kathleen at Faded Charms for White Wednesday. You can check out other participants there and I am also joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.

Hope you enjoy a nice day,

Carolyn

Love the egg cup! I'm from England so we love to have a boiled egg in an egg cup. Every Christmas we have boiled eggs in our china egg cups! Of course the cups have warmers too. Little cozy's that go over them!

Happy Wednesday on Thursday. I love that you treat yourself in such a beautiful way in the morning. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. If I'm alone with no where to hurry too, I do the same thing. Only I don't have those beautiful, lacy white dishes. Come on over sometime-we'll have breakfast on my deck. You bring the darling toast holder.

Hi Carolyn: Your buttermilk biscuits look really decadent - yum. I love the series of photos: they have helped to inspire me for decorating ideas for a bathroom makeover this coming spring. Must get back to quiltmaking on this grey but warmish Nova Scotia morning.
