Did I tell you that I love peonies? We have over a hundred peonies in our garden and most of them are in bloom now. ther are a few early ones that are past and a few late ones not blooming yet but the majority of them are now in bloom.
I have picked lots of bouquets like the one above.
I think this one is Gardenia.

This is Festiva Maxima-my first peony given to me by my Dad and he got it from his Dad so it is very special. I have divided it mant times. It is very fragrant.

Carolyn, I especially like the soft pink ones. These soft pink peonies in the white pitcher are my favorites. Though all are pretty, the ones in the pitcher on your sun porch are a gentle touch to enjoy.

Kansas Peonies bloom in May. To see a large presentation, we have to drive through the local cemetaries where large amounts of peonies grace the grounds for Memorial Day.

Carolyn your peonies are so beautiful! I only have 4 peony plants. And only two of them bloom! I don't know what I am doing wrong. The ones that bloom only get one or two flowers on them too.

Peonies like a lot of sunshine to bloom well.the other reason peonies don't bloom is if they are planted to deep.

What beautiful peonies... Ours were great this year. Normly are all gone by Memorial Weekend. I hope the weather co-operates with your garden tour. Looking forward to those pictures.. I always look forward to your posts..

I love your peonies. They are the queens of my garden. If I could only grow one thing, it would be peonies. But thank goodness, no one has limited me to just one flower. Yours are all so lovely.
