I love this garden bench-it started out with New Dawn roses and clematis but now it has grapevines growing over it.
Love this water fountain!
These are cleome-a good annual filler in a bed.
I couldn't find my pictures of the house so I took this one from their website. It is beautiful and in the summer it is open for tours some afternoons. The gardens are open to the public as well.
I hope you enjoyed a quick tour of their garden in August last year.
Enjoy your weekend!
Carolyn

Yes, indeed I did enjoy that tour....I look out into my Potager and said "oh dear heavens....I have a lot of work to do"
How exciting! Planning is half the fun! I agree with you about the meeting though - yuck! But hopefully this will be a learning experience for both parties - you bring a lot to the table!!!
I'm excited to see your garden in bloom!
Terrific for you. Your blog is a lovely place to visit - so thanky you for taking the time to share with us. I'll be looking forward to seeing what the spring and summer bring to your garden ( in your spare time of course)
An interesting place.
So beautiful....is was a pleasure to be in this garden.
Have a nice evening
Enjoyed that tour!! I'll be looking forward to future posts about your experiences on the board - maybe we all can learn something. I would love to learn about some different varieties to use for a short growing season. I'm assuming your season is short in PEI, is it? Sally
Yes,Salmagundi we do have a shorter season here. Our daffodils will probably be blooming in a week or so and usually by mid October we will have a killing frost. On the plus side, we usually have enough rain and sun to keep everything green and lush right through this growing season.
Take care,
Carolyn
Congratulations Carolyn - that's quite an honour. I know that you will be wonderful at it.
Gorgeous gardens, indeed.... but you know what.... yours are as lovely! For real!
Hugs

WOW!!!! What a beautiful garden and a special invitation for you to be on the board. I will have to visit that garden as well as yours when the day comes. I will be going on my first garden tour May 2
I'm so excited, I will take lots of pictures. Thank-you for taking the time to share your garden with us, I can hardley wait to see whats coming.

Wow, what a magnificent garden. So much color. Thank you for sharing these pictures, they are splendid!
Hi Carolyn,
They do have splendid gardens there. I have been inside the house more than I have been outside. I often take in the Concerts put on by UPEI students. Congratulations on being chosen as a planner; that's quite an honour! What do you think of the temperatures we got today? 22 degrees out there right now; we'll take it! Enjoy your weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
What a lovely place! You will surely make a fabulous addition to their board from what I've seen of your photos of your own gardens! :)
Thank you for sharing the lovely garden tour. I loved your post on garden views - your garden looks fabulous and I am looking forward to seeing it in bloom this year.
What a beautiful place to live.
Have a wonderful week.
Blessings,
Erin
