Making an Entrance!

Yesterday I decided to tackle a project I have been thinking about for awhile, our porch which is the main entrance to our home. I think it is amazing the change you can make with a can of paint. The curtains were from a thrift store as was the curtain rod( I need one more).I still have a few changes to make -my husband is going to hang a small chandelier for me and then the room is ready for spring. I love how fresh the room looks now-hope fall doesn't find me looking for my old paint can to warm up the room!!!

Hi Carolyn,
What a lovely job you've done in the room! Everything looks so fresh; perfect for Spring. Love the statue from your hubby too. I have an award for you waiting on my blog if you would like to drop by and pick it up.

Blessings,
Sandi

Your right it is amazing what paint can do to liven up a room. The room is beautiful and I like how the sun is reflecting off of everything. Very pretty room!!

Hi, Carolyn,

I love the new colour, looks so good with your black and white toile tablecloth too.
Regarding your question about the roses, potassium is the thing that makes roses bloom, so if you want to only use organic stuff, banana peels are good. You can also get Sulphate of Potash to get more blooms. I know all the ones (compost, fish emulsion etc)you use are pretty good stuff, but I haven't had a look to see whether they contain potassium, they might be very good for the development of the root system.

Hi Carolyn,
You have been a busy lady. I love the new color that you picked for your pretty sunroom.
I am catching up with your posts and it is good to come back to my favorite places again.
Thank you for your prayers.
Your new little grandbaby is so precious and that look on your little grandson's face is priceless. I have a picture like that of my oldest and the arrival of his sister. I believe we even heard, take her back to the hospital.lol
Have a great weekend.
Hugs
Becky
